Note: These should be the same for the CB100 also.

For testing the motors so I can switch back and forth fast between motors I am using plugs
on the motors as you will see in the pictures.
I am going to keep this post for all the motor testing and information and edit and add to it as needed.

I tried the HP05-2 with a 16T. This motor is nice and smooth and has some very good power and climb out.
I first tried it with the stock tail motor but it couldn’t hold the tail on punch outs. It spun almost 180*.
So I put the new 2.5g tail motor on it and it held pretty good, not 100% but close. The nose will kick to the left to about the 11 o-clock position on a full punch out which isn’t bad at all.
I also found the HP06-2 with the stock tail motor couldn’t hold the tail on punch outs either. It spun almost 180*.

I tried the HP06-2 with a 14T pinion and stock 2g tail motor.
The tail holds for quick throttle increases well.
If you do a full punch out at a hover the nose will go to
the left to about the 11 o-clock position.
Your not going to do this in normal flight anyway so it doesn’t matter.
I tached it at 4,110 RPM which is about the same as the 003 w/14T at 4,170 RPM.

The heli has a lot of power and climb out with the HP05-2 or HP06-2.
It really perked up the heli!
The climb out is impressive.
Plus the heli is 5.8 Grams lighter compared to the stock motor.
They are great on the helicopter, run cool, are very light, have lot’s of power and climb out, and have very good flight times.

I also tired the WK 003 w/16T.
I tached it at 4,410 RPM!
It has wicked power in my hand.
The tail will blow out with the stock tail motor
if you nail the throttle to about 3/4 or more.
If you do gentle semi quick throttle slams the tail will hold
and the heli is like a rocket. The climb-out is wicked!!!
This turns the heli into a little screamer!

I had the HP07-2 (HP06V2) motor sitting here with an 18T for the 4G6 so I put a 12T on it and put it in the V100.
WOW!!! The heli has a ton of power and climb out is wicked! Flight times are almost the same as the HP05 and HP06 motors.
I nailed the throttle in a hover from both knee high and chest high
and it held the nose at the 12 o-clock position all the way up to the top of my house.
I kept doing this throughout the entire battery pack.
The HP07-2 (HP06V2) and 2.5g tail motor is the winner combo for good tail holding in punch outs and excellent flight times.

The 2.5g tail motor is nice. It is the same size as the 2.9g but the magnets are not as strong as you can
notice turning them each next to each other. The windings may be different also between the two motors.

2.9g Turbo Ace 25700 Brushless Tail Motor: Dual Bearings

The HP07-2 (HP06V2) and 2.5g tail motor is the winner combo for perfect
tail holding in punch outs, massive climb outs, and excellent flight times.

If your looking for all out insane power and climb out for an inrunner motor use the 003 w/16T and 2.9g tail.
Second best is the Red Turbo Ace Motor and 2.9g tail.
The 003 has a true KV rating of 15,000. The Red Turbo Ace Motor is 14,000 KV.

If your looking for a lighter heli with quick response and great climb out go with the HP05-2 w/16T or HP06-2 w/16T and 2.5g or 2.9 tail.

Putting on a 14T on the stock 003 motor instead of using the 13Twill perk up the heli with more RPM, response and climb out.

Due to the V100D01 is pretty much like the CB100 (size, weight, most parts shared) your favorite motor and pinion on the CB100 should also be perfect for the V100D01. I have found this to be true and did a lot of testing to come to this conclusion.

HP07-2 (HP06V2) w/14T

The climb out is wicked sick!
A 2 second full throttle punch will get the helicopter about as
high as my two story house.

The tail won’t hold 100% like it does on the 12T.
The nose will kick to the left to about to the 10:30-11:00 o-clock position.

This is a bit much for indoors. Throttle is hyper sensitive! If you full throttle punch it you will
be into the ceiling FAST. I already flew into my ceiling fan
gunning the throttle to much.
Normal flying is fine if you go easy on the throttle.
Outside is a blast with this much power!

Flight time should be about the same as the 12T. With the 14T you will
use even less throttle to hover and fly it around as you would on a 12T.

Flight Times:

I have a jumbo countdown timer I am watching in front of me
so this is why I can time down to each minute within a couple
of seconds from each other. I know when to start landing to reach
my target time I want to check.

These are actual flight times from the time I lift off to the time I land.
I am hovering, flying around, flying in circles, etc.
On the outside times I am flying aggressive the entire time!
